Steps :   1. Backcomb/tease the crown of your head. This makes the hair “sticky” for starting the fishtail. 2. Gather a small handful of hair from the back center of the head and separate the hair into two sections. 3. + 4. The Dutch braid is one of my favorites. It is very similar to a French braid but backward so it's a little tricky to get the motion down, but once you have it down, you might think it's even easier than a French braid. First, I want to show you the difference in the way a French and a Dutch braid look. The way to begin a Dutch braid is to take the section of hair you want to braid and divide it into three equal sections. You ca start it anywhere in the head.
